Jameson Williams is entering his third year as a part of the Lions after being drafted 12th overall in the 2021 draft.
I have been a big Jameson Williams believer even after the Lions drafted him coming off a season ending acl injury. The elite speed and ability to separate from corners at Alabama showed me and many scouts the special potential he has.
Williams only has 25 catches for 395 yards and three touchdowns in his career. But, during offseason workouts, Dan Campbell and teammates have already been impressed by Williams and his work ethic and the strides he has made this offseason.
Jameson enters his third year in the league and is being counted upon to make a big leap. With Josh Reynolds exiting and leaving this offseason, the Lions need a guy who can fill those shoes. Reynolds had 608 receiving yards on 64 targets last year and was a big target for Jared Goff. The fact that the Lions let Reynolds walk in free agency and did not draft a wide receiver in April says something. They expect Jamo to have a big year and to take a massive leap and I can definitely see the vision.
